WILLIE HARMATZ
Willie has been involved with running, competing and coaching at the Los Gatos High School for over 42 years. Now in his 30th year of business, Willie enjoys helping customers in the proper performance equipment selection, assisting with personal training programs and injury prevention and directing road races and track meets.
While being the Head Track and Cross Country Coach at Los Gatos from 1978 to 2001, he became the most successful distance running coaches in Los Gatos and CCS history. He coached 14 All-Americans, 33 CCS Individual Champions, 18 team Cross Country CCS titles, 11-year dual meet home win streak, 4 All-American Relay Teams, 3 Girls CCS Track Team Titles, and 2 State Cross Country Team Titles. Willie was Coach of the Year 7 times, by Cal Track News twice , Runners World, San Jose Mercury, CIF State, Toyota, and the Los Gatos Weekly. He is currently the Meet Director of the CCS Top 8 Track Classic, 14 All-Comer Summer/Winter Track Meets, the Dammit Run, and the Resolution Run each year.
CHRISTINE KENNEDY
Chris is currently ranked #2 in the country in the Masters Marathon. She won the 2007 Chicago Marathon in the Masters. She is a two-time Masters National Cross Country 10K Champion. Chris was selected to compete in the Ireland World Championships in Cross Country, Ekiden Road Relays, and European Cup Marathon. Has run a best of 2:35.04 in the Marathon, and was 12th in the World Cup Marathon. Winner of the Dublin Marathon in Ireland twice, Chris also placed 3rd in the British Nationals in Cross Country, and competed in the World Championships in Cross Country 3 times. She also has placed 2nd, 3rd, and 4th in the Big Sur Marathon, 2nd in the California International Marathon Open, and won the USATF Grand Prix. Currently training very hard, she keeps pushing her limits in order to continually reach her potential. Chris has great experience in fitting runners in their proper shoes for their training and racing. Only 5'1" and 112 pounds, Chris runs like a giant in her division, for she is a perfect example of hard consistent training in becoming the true champion that she is.
BRAD ARMSTRONG
Brad has over 42 years of running experience in competing, and setting up training programs for customers. He trains community runners for 5K's, 10K's and Marathons and is currently coaching at Fisher Middle School, where he claims to have had the best Cross Country team in Fisher History from 2007, but Willie knows otherwise. Brad was an outstanding distance runner where he competed on the varsity team at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. He works very well individually with customers in fitting them into the correct shoes based on what they have worn in the past, what there training is currently, and what they are training for.
LISA LORD
Lisa is a lifetime runner and has been competing in marathons, team relay races and competitive distance running for almost 10 years. She has also been a competitive soccer coach for California Youth Soccer Association (CYSA). Lisa is also a certified personal trainer, fitness instructor and a lifestyle weight management consultant. Lisa is also active in pilates, weight training and various spinning classes.
FRED STAUB
Fred has been involved with Athletic Performance for many years now. His experience in dealing with runners and physical enthusiasts in the community at various athletic clubs is quite extensive. Fred enjoys cross training including running, weight training, spinning, kick boxing, and swimming. He also has background in track, basketball, and football from his school days and while in the Navy.
